Conference Talk

Are we traumatizing you?

Two things we know for a fact. Social media can be a traumatizing place, and words affect action. Well-designed words can affect positive behavior change. At Twitter, they know that words have the power to inspire action and connect the world. They also know that for everyone’s voice to be in the conversation, they need a safe and welcoming environment — a place for curiosity to thrive and conversations to flow. Trauma-informed content design allows to do just that.
