Tiziana Alocci is an Italian award-winning information designer, data artist, and lecturer. Alongside her art production, Tiziana has worked commercially for over a decade as an information designer, collaborating with creative studios, brands, and organisations worldwide. In this capacity, her scope of work spans from interactive data experiences to printed editorial data visualisations, with clients including the BBC, the British Library, and Wired UK. Since 2018, Tiziana is an Associate Lecturer at the University of the Arts London, amongst other international guest lecturing posts at Ravensbourne University London (UK), Chelsea College of Arts (UK), Hyper Island (Sweden), Winchester School of Art (UK), Data Ninja School (Italy), ArtEZ University of the Arts (The Netherlands). In 2017, Tiziana co-founded Market Cafe Magazine, the world’s first independent magazine about data visualisation. Tiziana is a graduate of the Politecnico di Milano. Born and raised between the sea and the “vicoli” of Genoa, she lives and works in East London where she runs her studio playing with pixels, data, and sounds, regularly falling in love with new forms of art.
