The only way to predict the future is to create it

Feb 18, 2020

Inhale the future, exhale the past. If you want to be truly future proof, you’ll need to be defining what the future will look like. Last year, Scandinavian fashion retailer Carlings changed the world of fashion and launched the world’s first digital clothing collection where consumers could show off digital fashion in their social feeds while reducing the harmful consequences of fast fashion. Executive Creative Director of Vice/Virtue, Morten Grubak, and fashion designer Amber Jae Slooten will let you in on how to create ideas and IPs that break the status quo by looking towards the future.

As the first to graduate with a full digital collection back in 2016 her work always questions the way in which we will fit, purchase and wear clothing in the future. She is a co-founder and creative director of The Fabricant, a digital fashion house that creates clothing that is always digital, never physical. Unconstrained by the boundaries of the physical realm, they create intriguing and seductive 3D fashion experiences of endless possibility.
