Veronica D'Souza is an award-winning social entrepreneur, brand builder, sustainability strategist and keynote speaker. Currently, she works as an international advisor for purpose driven companies to build and scale both social and environmental impact. She co-founded Ruby Cup in 2011, a sustainable menstrual health solution for women and girls living in poverty with offices in Nairobi and Barcelona. In 2016, she founded CARCEL, a fashion label that creates social inclusion and fair wages for incarcerated women in Thailand and Peru, with a mission to change the fashion industry by making sustainability and transparency the main driver of each part of the supply chain. Veronica also sits in the jury of the INDEX Award, is a member of the Danish Design Council, and is the co-author of ‘The Road Map for Sustainable Leadership’ from the leading Scandinavian Think Tank, Monday Morning (DK). She has lived and worked in Africa, Latin America, Thailand, US and Europe and loves connecting with new people and organisations who are on the same path as herself.
